What's another way we can organize your computers? What about email? Your Favorite Websites? Your Blog Posts? RSS Feeds?

The only way I know of us organize your computer is by social bookmarking and RSS feeds. Emails can organize to but not as much because everything starts to get cluttered and scattered and it starts to get difficult to manage especially if you get many emails a day. My favorite websites are websites that allow me to buy new clothes or shoes or new arrivals on clothing. My favorite blog posts are about new recipes, especially because my mom loves to cook she can start to make new things. RSS Feeds on food posts also are good for me to organize from different types of foods.

My thoughts on Global Warming

I do believe in the theory of global warming. The Earth is warming up and we are not doing anything about it.  Glaciers are melting significantly this century. Montana's Glacier National Park used to have 150 glaciers in 1910 and now there are only 27.

Here is a picture of a before and after picture from 1940 and 2006.

It's sad to see the Earth changing like this but we can help prevent it from getting worse.mj

4 Ways to Keep Your Phone Charged in an Outage

  • Battery Chargers: "Juice Packs" are bought for $100 or less for smartphones. They are protective cases that charge your phones.
  • Power Inverter: the inverter is used to convert DC power from your car battery into things that usually are plugged into an outlet
  • Laptop: charge your laptop in advance before any storm or outage and then you can use your laptop as a backup generator to charge your phone
  • Stop running apps: using apps drains your battery. Also it's helpful to turn off your Wi-Fi because it will help save your battery a lot. It is suggested to text instead of calling because it saves more of the phones battery.

Homework 10/22

  • What are the benefits of using a wiki?
  • How can we create one in this class and utilize it?
  • What experience do you have using or creating wikis?

Benefits of using wiki is that it makes documentation easier. It helps people connect across an organization. You make a wiki you need an account and then you can start editing from there. I honestly have no experience with wiki at all except for getting information from Wikipedia.

Summer 2012

This summer I went down the shore with my friends. We went several times together. We went to Point Pleasant to celebrate my friend Raquel's birthday. It was cool. Also, I went to Wildwood with my family for a week. We went to the beach, the boardwalk and water parks. I would do anything to go back there again!

Here is a picture of the boardwalk down in Wildwood!

I also went to Six Flags with my friends! Our favorite ride was definitely Green Lantern.
